Carissa Dannen is a graphic designer and painter who graduated from Drake University with a BFA in Studio Art Painting in 2021. Her work explores the intersection of visual communication and fine art. With a keen eye for color and composition, they bring a unique perspective to digital and traditional mediums. Their graphic design work focuses on Logo creation, illustration, and web design, while their paintings often delve into abstract expressionism with fantasy elements. Carissa is passionate about creating impactful and meaningful art that resonates with audiences. She also enjoys teaching art with many classes all over Des Moines, many at the Des Moines Art Center for over 4 years.
